Loten's Sunbird (Male)

Loten's Sunbird - one of the two frequent visitors here, the other being Purple Rumped Sunbird
Got these pictures after waiting for a long time, as the little bird is very restless in behaviour.

Loten's Sunbird

This bird can be easily confused with Purple Sunbird, which also has similar colors. The difference is in the length of the bill. Loten's Sunbird has very long bills than that of the other.

Like other sunbirds, these also feed on nectars, and belong to the family Nectariniidae.
Species: Cinnyris lotenius.
