Common Cerulean Butterfly

Common Cerulean is a very small butterfly belonging to the family Lycaenidae. It is a commonly seen one.

 The black and orange spot on the under side of hind wing helps to identify this little one easily.

It is only one or two centimeters in length and shows variance in appearance during different seasons.

  6. Wow, those are really great captures!! If I'm not mistaken, this one looks rather pretty with its wings open too... the nice cerulean blue colour!
